On eBay two sellers where always on my watch list, RyuJapan-99 and Yamatoku-classic. Yamatoku now only sells on his website, which is fine but his eBay sales were the best and Ryu, well he has merged with a company called shinei and for the overseas buyer the experience of transaction and quality of items is not how they used to be.
So, even though I am stopping my kimono buying my sources of decent price kimono are dwindling. Is this because the markets are so tight? The US home land security putting restrictions on parcels and taking away a huge volume of buyers from kimono sellers?
