Well, Saturday was cold in Manchester. Around -2C.
However, in the UK we are a bit crazy so we carried on the Kimono De Souji plans.
Kimono de whaaa?
Kimono de Souji is promoting the Edo spirit of comminity and ecological thinking in Kimono.
So with the support of Manchester council we did a little community service in Piccadilly gardens by picking up litter.
We are in our working kimono 🙂
and then lunch after a good 2 hours litter picking in the cold:
Austerity measures in the UK are affecting council budgets so a little bit of help is sometimes needed and always appreciated.
However, as community service is a punishment for minor crimes in the UK, onlookers probably thought we were criminals. They would never suspect we were volunteers 🙂
